As the basis of automobile industry, auto parts is the necessary factor for supporting the automobile industry to develop continuously and healthily. Especially now when the independent development and innovation of automobile industry is developing vigorously and hotly, it needs a strong auto parts system to support. Independent brand and technology innovation of complete vehicle need auto parts as basis, and innovation of auto parts generates strong impetus to the development of complete vehicle industry, they influence and interact each other. Without independent brand of complete vehicle, the R&D and innovation ability of strong auto parts system can’t erupt and without the support of strong auto parts system, expanding and strengthening of independent brand of complete vehicle can’t continue.
From January to December in 2005, total accumulated industrial output value of all China auto parts and accessories manufacturing enterprises was 383,800,952 thousand yuan, increased year-on-year 18.67%; accumulated product sales revenue was 375,265,815 thousand yuan, increased year-on-year 20.21%; total accumulated profit was 21,462,002 thousand yuan, increased year-on-year 9.09%.
From January to December in 2006, total accumulated industrial output value of all China auto parts and accessories manufacturing enterprises was 539,704,996 thousand yuan, increased year-on-year 34.35%; accumulated product sales revenue was 527,234,933 thousand yuan, increased year-on-year 34.71%; total accumulated profit was 32,605,652 thousand yuan, increased year-on-year 46.79%; by the end of December in 2006, there were 6,142 enterprises above designed size in the whole industry.
From January to November in 2007, total accumulated industrial output value of all China auto parts and accessories manufacturing enterprises was 683,525,503 thousand yuan, increased year-on-year 37.34%; accumulated product sales revenue was 663,529,269 thousand yuan, increased year-on-year 37.45%; total accumulated profit was 48,487,363 thousand yuan, increased year-on-year 68.61%; by the end of November in 2007, there were 7,171 enterprises above designed size in the whole industry.
It becomes a global trend that auto parts production enterprises break away from complete vehicle enterprises and form professional auto parts groups. Famous international automobile and auto parts enterprises almost all have established joint ventures or proprietorship corporations in China and there are more than 1000 technological acquisition joint ventures. A series of domestic automobile and auto parts enterprises with high technology content, good benefit and large scale grow gradually. With implementing the“globalized purchasing” strategy in the international automobile industry and carrying out the localization strategy in international multinational automobile enterprises, domestic market will show big demand gap of auto parts and accessories.
